Introduction to Xijiuhua Mountain Scenic Area
西九华山风景区位于河南省固始县南部大别山北麓，北依淮河，南靠大别山，为国家4A级景区。景区总面积120平方公里，森林覆盖率高达95%。整个景区以万亩茶园、竹海、森林、湖泊和峡谷瀑布群为主体，景区景色优美，历史文化底蕴深厚，是中原地区最大的集“茶、竹、禅”为一体的生态旅游胜地。
Xijiuhua Mountain Scenic Area is located at the northern foot of Dabie Mountain in the south of Gushi County, Henan Province, bordering the Huaihe River in the north and Dabie Mountain in the south. It is a national 4A-level scenic Area. It covers a total area of 120m2, and the forest coverage rate is as high as 95%. The entire scenic area is dominated by ten thousand mu of tea gardens, bamboo seas, forests, lakes, and canyon waterfalls. With beautiful scenery and profound historical and cultural heritage, it is the largest eco-tourism resort integrating "tea, bamboo, and Zen" in the Central Plains.
西九华山景区开放迎宾的景点有禅文化区-妙高禅寺、寻根楼；茶竹文化区-万亩茶园竹林、茶山滑道、中原竹寨；山水游览区--留梦河谷；还有花干谷、草原亲子乐园、白鹭湖水上乐园等多个游乐园区。
The scenic spots open to visitors in Xijiuhua Mountain Scenic Area include the Zen Cultural Area-Miaogao Temple and Xungen Building; Tea and Bamboo Cultural Area-Ten Thousand Mu of Tea Garden Bamboo Forest, Chashan Slide, Zhongyuan Bamboo Village; landscape sightseeing area-Liumeng River Valley. There are also many amusement park areas such as Huagan Valley, Grassland Parent-child Park, and Bailu Lake Water Park.
景区自然生态良好，基础设施完善。现有会议中心酒店、民俗村宾馆、竹韵山庄别墅、禅音怡和酒店、白鹭湖培训中心酒店、白鹭湖民宿群等旅游接待酒店，可满足会务、度假、休闲、娱乐等多种需求，让您宾至如归。
The scenic area has good natural ecology and complete infrastructure. 西九华山景区2017获评“河南省省级旅游度假区”、“河南省文明单位”，2018年获评“河南省研学旅游示范基地”。河南省教育厅2019年授予西九华山“河南省中小学社会实践教育基地”。
Xijiuhua Mountain Scenic Area was awarded as "Henan Provincial Tourism Resort", "Civilized Unit in Henan Province" in 2017, "Henan Province Research and Tourism Demonstration Base" in 2018. In 2019, the Department of Education of Henan Province awarded Xijiuhua Mountain "Henan Province Primary and Secondary School Social Practice Education Base".
